15 Years of Excellence

Albinati Aeronautics, a Geneva-based company active in business aviation is proud to have reached its 15th year of excellence. 

Founded on 26 February 2001 by Stefano Albinati, Albinati Aeronautics started out with the management of 1 aircraft and 5 employees, and in 15 years grew to 18 aircraft and 115 employees. As a result of its growing business jet fleet, the company has become an international player in the business aviation market and the largest Swiss-based operator of Global aircraft. 

Albinati Aeronautics has achieved many accomplishments during its 15 years of operation, with last year being particularly successful.

The most important milestones over the years:

 In 2005, Albinati Aeronautics obtained a Swiss AOC and made its first steps as a commercial operator.  The same year it established its CAMO department (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization). The next milestones didn’t wait long, and between 2009 and 2010, the company laid the foundations of its international expansion. In this period, Albinati Aeronautics became an IS-BAO, USA Visa Waiver Program and FAR Part 129 approved operator, thus increasing the company’s commercial and operational flexibility. 

 In 2014 Albinati Aeronautics extended its range of services and continued its international expansion by obtaining a Maltese AOC through its sister company Albinati Aviation Ltd and by opening its Maltese office in St Julian’s. The same year, the company obtained its CAT II approval, expanding its All Weather Operations capabilities. 

 2015 was a successful year for Albinati Aviation. Under its Maltese AOC, the company received 4 Bombardier Global aircraft under management (2 Global 6000s, 1 Global 5000 Vision and 1 Global 5000) and thus strengthened its presence in the long-haul segment.
