As of 25th of August 2016, a new regulation called Part-NCC will be enforced on private operators.
Definiton
From that date, non-commercial operators (including owner-pilots) of complex aircraft based in one of the 32 “EASA states” (note this is EASA, not EU, therefore it equally applies to Switzerland) and operators from third-party countries who operate aircraft into Europe, must comply with the new Air Operations Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012, namely Part-NCC.
The principal objective of this new regulation is to increase safety through standardizing safety requirements for both private and commercial operators.
